The VampireLily Muse Tarot Necklace by Kamille Freske

I first discovered Kamille’s work on Etsy and instantly fell in love with her Romantic-Gothic aesthetic and the quality of the work, so i didn’t hesitate to inquire about a commission.

It’s always exciting to exchange ideas with someone whose work you admire and this piece was the end result.  It was a joy working with her and i can’t  wait to discuss future projects with her.

I originally came across Michael Shapcott’s work on RedBubble.com where i was taken completely aback by the depth and texture of his work.  Women seemed to take a breath, animals appeared to wander straight off the page.

This is where i learned about Michael’s project “Drawing a Drawing 365”  where he will create 1 portrait every day for 365 days.  I HAD to be part of it….  my portrait was for Winter Solstice, December 21st, 2012…. this also happens to be my birthday.  It’s one of the best birthday presents EVER and a fantastic honor to be part of this amazing project.

Being a fan of Jason Yungbluth’s “Weapon Brown” series and the wickedly dark “Clarrisa”, I was thrilled & humbled that he did this piece.  Please take note of my Bangin’ hips and come hither gaze.  Damned right, Bay-bay!
